Rolf Naujokat began his yoga studies in North India in 1975 with japa kriya, traditional hatha yoga and pranayama. He was certified to teach the Ashtanga yoga system by his guru, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, in 1996 and practices the fourth series. Beginning in 1990, he studied in Mysore for 3-6 months of every year for 16 years. ... Marcy, she is like a mad mother that will not allow you to do the practice without learning WELL.... the foundations and alignment necessary for you not to injure yourself.
Tim Miller has been studying and teaching Ashtanga Yoga for over thirty years and was the first American certified to teach by Pattabhi Jois at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore, India.
